Leveraging campaign assets for Fido's Unlimited Christmas, we shot additional photography while in studio for the broadcast spot with the intent of creating interactive ads to support the campaign. This banner utilizes a familiar icon (a holiday crested book) as a device to simulate Santa's list. This fully interactive banner counts down the days until Christmas and takes the user on a brief holiday tale. Along the way, we hint at the necessity for unlimited calling and eventually offer this is a promotional package to celebrate the seasonality.
This banner scored high in engagement time as well as CTR and convinced our client to rethink their success metrics (KPI) from "impressions" to "time spent with brand".
